Wendy started dancing when she was 8 years old and started teaching when she was 18. She has attended various trainings and seminars as well as choreographed for school plays and danced with the Youngstown Pride Basketball team- all of which have enhanced her dancing and teaching skills.
Miss Wendy attended YSU where she earned a bachelor degree in Social Work. She finds that her experience in working with underprivileged children while employed at Mahoning County Children Services Bureau and Health and Rehabilitation Services in Florida, as well as working with juvenile delinquents through Youth Homes, Inc. in Charlotte, NC has had a profound impact in connecting with and understanding her students.
She knows that each child brings a variety of experiences and emotions to the dance room and are a precious gift in which she, as a dance instructor, has been blessed to be a part of molding and shaping through the art of dance, into who they will someday become. Miss Wendy started running avidly four years ago and accomplished her first half marathon last year. She also works alongside her husband, Tom, in running their business, Q4 Manufacturing Solutions. They reside in Leetonia with their three children- Tyler, Chayton and Abylin.
